The Story Behind
TWO16 Photography
TWO16 Photography is a commercial studio focused on product and alcohol photography. Built for campaigns, brands, and products meant to stand apart.
Jason Barnes comes from a technical studio background rooted in film, medium format, and large format photography. That foundation still shapes the work today. Light is controlled. Composition is deliberate. Nothing is accidental.
Digital didn’t replace that process. It extended it. The result is work that carries intention all the way through to the final frame.
Over the past two decades, Jason has worked across spirits, wine, and consumer products, creating imagery that launches products and defines how they’re perceived.
The approach is simple. Remove everything that doesn’t serve the product. Build around what remains. Execute it at a level that holds up under scrutiny.
TWO16 operates at both ends of the spectrum. Campaign imagery that leads. Production work that scales. The throughline is consistency, control, and a clear point of view.

Remote Production
TWO16 operates as a fully remote production studio. Products are shipped directly to the studio, where everything from prep to final delivery is handled in-house.
Creative direction stays collaborative. Projects can run through detailed briefs, live shoot sessions, or a combination of both, depending on how hands-on your team wants to be.
The process stays controlled and consistent from start to finish, regardless of where your team is located.
