JASON BARNES
SF Bay Area commercial photographer
Specializing in wine photography, spirits photography, and product photography
TWO16 Photography, the creative mindset of Commercial Photographer Jason Barnes, is the outcome of his curiosity and an unyielding admiration of the still image. Growing up in a small rural town, Jason found inspiration in magazine and album covers, outsider art, skateboarding culture, David Lynch films, and Frank Zappa's works, which collectively birthed Jason’s particular vision for crafting visual narratives through still imagery.
Having pursued a BFA in Film Photography from Kendall College of Art and Design, Jason moved to the vast expanses of the American Southwest, where he was exposed to established commercial photographers and up-and-coming creatives alike, learning about the craft and the industry of photography from industry veterans and contemporary minds.
Presently, Jason calls the San Francisco Bay Area home and boasts almost two decades of creative experience in the commercial photography industry. With his keen eye for detail and creativity, he has become a highly sought-after professional in the field.
